At Fanwoods we offer many activities approved and designed by highly qualified and trained staff in the relevent activity’s field. All our activities are regularly inspected, modified and updated to conform with current outdoor adventure education theory and to conform to all current health and safety theory and best practice.
Please note that the crate stacking, and low ropes are all flood lit and can be used after dark. The archery, boulder wall, and Jonty’s cave are all inside and can be used regardless of the weather.
Activities & Prices
All activities are £30 per hour plus the cost of an instructor (as appropriate) please speak to us on booking to confirm your cost.
We offer Site specific familiarisation courses on the following activities prior to your booking if needed and this is valid for 5 years and will allow you to instruct your own sessions. (Low Ropes/Soft Archery/Grass Sledges/Bouldering & Cave) Please note to instruct a Cave session you must first be able to complete both caves.

We also have the following activities availble, if you have your own instructor:-
- Archery (A valid Archery GB Permit will need to be sent to the booking secretary prior to booking)
- Tomahawk Throwing (Instructors must have done a KATTA training session)
- Indoor Shooting (A valid NRSA air rifle permit will need to be sent to the booking secretary on booking)
- Crate Climbing
We also have a range of other activities which can be hired out such as parachute, mini pioneering, binocular trail. please speak to bookings for individual item costs.
