At Fanwoods we offer many activities approved and designed by highly qualified and trained staff in the relevent activity’s field. All our activities are regularly inspected, modified and updated to conform with current outdoor adventure education theory and to conform to all current health and safety theory and best practice.
We can ether supply instructors to work with your group – or we can offer instructor training so that you can instruct activities to your own groups. Ideal for groups planning more than one trip, or planning to use a certain activity more than once.
Please note that the crate stacking, and low ropes are all flood lit and can be used after dark. The archery, boulder wall, and Jonty’s cave are all inside and can be used regardless of the weather.

As of 2021 all activities are £30 per hour plus the cost of an instructor (as appropriate) please speak to bookings to confirm your cost
We have a dedicated, fully enclosed, archery range available for use in all weather conditions.
Archery leaders MUST have a current GNAS archery qualification. (From time to time we provide these courses.)

Indoor Shooting Range
Try our purpose built indoor 1.77 rifle shooting range
NOTE: Shooting leaders MUST have a current “NRSA” Air Rifle Instructors qualification and provide proof to the Warden before using the range. (From time to time we arrange these courses.)
Indoor bouldering wall
Try your hand at our bouldering wall: a horizontal climbing challenge!
Follow the 500ft passageway through our simulated caves whilst knowing that you are in complete safety.
Try our extensive low ropes course – ideal for team development or personal endurance trials.
How far dare you go? Stack and climb crates in full safety.
We also have a range of other activities which can be hired out such as parachute, mini pioneering, binocular trail. please speak to bookings for individual item costs.
We have created maps of our two caves, so that leaders and participants can see what they are going to be navigating through.
