Spring is almost here, and that means it’s time to give our Fanwood Scout & Guide Campsite a good ol’ spruce-up! We’re gearing up for our Spring Tidy Day on March 3rd, from 9:00 to 15:00, and we need your help to get the place looking spick and span.
We’ve got a bunch of tasks lined up to get our site ready for the new season, and we’d love for you to join in on the fun:
- General site work: We’ll be clearing up stuff, organizing gear, and making sure everything’s in tip-top shape.
- Leaf Clearing: Let’s sweep those pesky leaves from our paths and hangout spots.
- Window Cleaning: Time to make those windows sparkle and let the sunshine in.
- Gardening: If you’ve got a green thumb (or even if you don’t!), come help us plant and tend to our garden beds.
- Painting: We’ll be touching up areas that need a fresh coat of paint to make our site look its best.
- Tree, Shrub, and Bedding Plant Planting: Let’s add some greenery to our surroundings and make things look extra beautiful.
If you’ve got any gardening tools lying around, feel free to bring them along. But don’t worry if you don’t-we’ll have some extras on hand for everyone to use.
We need all hands on deck to make sure our campsite is ready to welcome visitors for the new season. So grab your friends, family, and anyone else who’s up for a day of good vibes and hard work.
