This years chosen charity for the St George’s Day Parade Collection was the Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice. This was chosen by the young people of the 11th Spen Valley Scout Group, as this year they were the Host group for the celebration.
On Sunday 21st May, a representative from the Charity attended the 11th Spen Valley Gala, and was presented with a cheque for £175.00, which was the money raised from the collection.
A massive thank you to everyone who donated as I am sure you will agree a very worthy charity.
